Gamebook design - hide menu bar
« on: May 29, 2012, 02:33:36 PM »
Hi there,
Does somebody know if it's possible to remove the 25px height status bar in HAC (e.g. show full screen in the compiled apk). Is there a command for this that I can implement in the main script?

With kind regards, Jeroen Wolf

Hi Jeroen

In HAC, there currently isn't a way to hide the menu bar and get full screen but we'll try to get this working for the next update (v1.15).

By the way, I have split your topic so its easier for others to find your menu bar question :)

ok ;) and thx for making this happen in version 1.15 :)
Buy the way I'm working more and more with HAC and I think it's an excellent program... What really helped me and got me on the right track where the lessons described in the following pdf document:

http://www.tigabyte.com/docs/QuickStart.pdf

If there are any more of these usefull documents on internet I will be happy to read them.

Thats nice to hear you found the old QuickStart pdf useful and thank you for mentioning it here.

There is also the old HyperNext Language Reference PDF linked below although it has many spelling mistakes and some sections aren't relevant to HAC:-
