AndroidMain: ParseListAVDs - exception = 5
« on: April 27, 2012, 04:42:15 PM »
I have started receiving the following message just in the last 2 days.

AndroidMain: ParseListAVDs - exception = 5

It does not seem to adversely affect any part of the tool or the applications.  It is just an annoyance since it pops up every time I start HAC or go into or out of the scripts editor.

I have had this error before, it arose when an AVD got deleted/corrupted - I can't recall how it occured.
This caused HAC to receive back some unexpected data when it requested the list of AVDs from the Android SDK AVD Manager.

Can you check if all your AVDs (Emulators) are there - and don't have a red cross besides their list entry.

To do this - from HAC's Android menu choose Android Emulators and this will launch the Android SDK AVG Manager.

If there is an invalid AVD in the list then you could either Delete it or Edit and repair it.

I'll try to see if there is a way to make HAC more robust to this problem.

I am sorry but I do not have time to answer questions by PM or email.
